Whenever i tried hosting a local karaoke session, eventually the QR code for peoples phones to access the session stops working, only leading to a blank screen that says “the remote instance isnt available.” Not entirely sure what thing i need to switch on to make thing work again.

This means Karaoke Mugen Server (the software that allows people to connect to your session) isn’t reachable anymore for some reason. You say it works and it suddenly doesn’t anymore ?
You can try to reconnect to it by disabling/enabling the remote access in the karaoke options of the operator view, this will trigger a reconnect.
KM Server can go offline once in a while as we’re not a professional that can guarantee the server will be up 99% of the time, so there might be hiccups once in a while.
