yeah as title says really uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and force updated the repositories

It seems there is something going wrong with your database.
Can you try regenerating the database? It might be successful and less tiresome than a database dump.

seems to work, one of my songs refuses to play out of the handful i tried but the rest worked ^-^
